Life Insurance versus Mutual Funds

For a while many people have been telling me that you could make more money with unit linked life insurance than mutual funds. I am not so sure. When I compare life insurance to mutual funds, I feel that you could make more money with mutual funds. For a while I have been investing in both and unless you need life insurance coverage, you better go with mutual funds for more earnings.
