Mom went haywire against insurance agent
The following is an exmple of why I say to check the life insurance rates before you get one. This last Sunday, our local SBI insurance agent Andrews Chettan visited us. He had called earlier that day – I told him that mom was asleep, but after some time he came to our house. The reason for the visit was to get an advance payment for an insurance we have. The last date is well after 1st April, but he wanted it before 31st Match so that he gets credited in this financial year. But the amount is pretty high – Rs. 50000, which we couldn’t get in this month. We told him that we will pay before the due date. But he was even asking us to take a loan to pay it – now mom got really mad. She shouted at him. I also couldn’t hold my anger back much.

Just joking around
A funny thing happened some days ago – I totally forgot about. But it came to me when I was online and here I am blogging about it. It isn’t exactly a joke – we did have a laugh about it – but as you think about it, its a pretty serious matter. Me and some of my friends were talking about marriages and how much its costing these days – suddenly on of us blurted out funeral costs much higher than before.. At first we laughed, but then we all began to sunk in the fact that all costs are going up..
