Why keep Gold if you need cash?
Well this is the motto for many gold money lenders like Manappuam, Muthoot etc these days. As price of gold only seems to go up and not down, this is a good tactic. Most Indians especially malayalees have a lot of gold in their possession. Gold is indeed difficult to keep - you need to scared of the fact that there may thieves looking for that gold in your home and you need to pay the bank an amount to keep the gold in their safe. So none of us are exited that people are going to either sell Gold for Cash or give them to money lenders for cash. For the money lenders even if the people don’t pay the cash back, they can keep the gold whose value would have increased more.

Send off for Thomas Sir and Lingson
Today we at Accel gave send off to Thomas Sir and Lingson. Thmoas Sir is off to Chennai Accel and Lingson is looking forward to making his name in business. I wish both of them the best. Both of them are going to needs loads of luck.
Yesterday I went for an Interview
Yesterday I went for an interview at PCS at Eranakulam. It was forwarded to me by my good friend Nikhil. I wasn’t pleased with the salary they had offered me. So I haven’t said “yes” and I didn’t attend the client interview. I lost a leave to attend the interview. Bejoy Sir wasn’t pleased that I went to attend the interview.
The good thing from yesterday’s travel is I went to visit Accel IT Academy at Eranakulam where I met my friends and colleagues - Harish (Center Manager) and the faculties - Thushara madam, my little sister Aiswarya who always keeps bragging about something, Anish, Rahul, Jency.. and some new dudes..
Another good thing was that I took my mom to the Thrissur Pooram Exhibition in the evening.

Alternative Medicine Online
I see youngsters going to learn to become Doctors and Nurses. I feel that their future may not be so bright. This is because there are so many people who are doctors and nurses and are studying to become doctors and nurses. If you are interested in medical field there is alternative medicine that you can consider like Massage Therapy, Acupuncture, Personal Training, Physical Therapy etc. There are even some online programs like massage therapy program online.
Should I get a degree?
Even though my type of job demands a degree, I don’t have one. I am still a diploma holder. I did join for MBA (IT) under ICFAI (Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India) university - big mistake. Never join ICFAI. Its far better to join one of the online universities. I have seem some degree courses having exposure to database, security and network related stuff. They even include international certifications like MCITP, CCENT, CCNA, A+, N+ etc. So you not only get a degree but also these certifications after completing the course. So check out online universities
