Went to see Parakkottukavu fireworks
This was something that had slipped my mind - I almost forgot about it. On 13th May 2012, we had went to see Parakkottukavu fireworks.
Me and my friend Aneesh started a little bit late - we had hoped to start at about 5:00PM - but we were late - we started only at about 6:30PM. We took off on bike - I know the route very well upto Chelakkara because we have been there before so often. But from Chelakkara to Thiruvilwamala, the route was a bit unknown. So we had to pause in between to get the route correct.
As I told earlier, we were a lot late - on the way we heard the first fireworks. But we reached in time for the remaining two fireworks.
We had to park the bike a bit far from the temple. We walked a small distance - we were always asking for directions as we had no idea where the temple is.
As soon as we reached near the area, the second fireworks started. After this we ate some snacks - then soon after the third fireworks started.
About the fireworks - its good. Its like watching a cinema in the balcony. This is because we were standing in the hills - this provides a very good view.
We returned back at about 9:15PM, we reached Thrissur at about 10:30PM.

A helmet model?
Earlier I had posted that I am looking for a new helmet because the current one that I am using is too old, smells bad and maybe a little out of fashion. So I have been searching for a lot of models online and locally within my city - Thrissur. Online I found some good motorcycle helmets at HelmetExpress.com, while local search of my town, the protection (the helmet - lol.. not condom) I found is not quite as good as I have expected.

Need another shoe
I had bought a leather shoe sometime ago. This is good for official use. Now I am looking for a shoe which is good for everyday use - I am looking for a casual shoe like Treksta evolution. I want something which can be used in all weather conditions (especially when now the rainy season is about to come), comfortable to wear, isn’t too bad looking and its should be pocket friendly.
Need to help my mother with gardening
My mom is into gardening whenever she can - and thats not a lot.. To be truthful, I haven’t helped her much. All I have done is watering the plants in our home when I am in a good mood - which is very less. Okay now lets get to the main thing that I wanted to say - my mom wants to have some large planters to put in the plants - I am thinking to get in some unbreakable ones so that even if a coconut falls on then, there is no damage..

Replace or properly maintain your old ceiling fan
You should replace or properly maintain your old ceiling fan. As your fans get older, there is a chance that the support system of the fan (including the nuts and bolts) using which the fans are attached to the ceiling gets rusty or weakened. Now there is a chance of the fan falling down - now this is a very rare case - but it did happen to my cousin Adarsh last week. Luckily he didn’t get any major injuries.
