Marottichal
Last Sunday we went to Marottichal. This time it was me and Harish V. Last time I had went with Amal Raj and we had not completed the trip. This time Amal was too lazy and didn’t came along. Harish came to my home at around 11:00 AM and we went to Amal’s house to persuade him to tag along. He wasn’t in any mood to come with us telling us some absurd reasons. So Harish and me took off from there at about 12:00 PM. We reached the destination soon.
Since Amal was not with us, we didn’t waste much time taking photos. We took a look at Olakkayam waterfalls which is nearby the road and then we took off with a group of youngsters who had also come to see the waterfalls. We only rested for a few minutes in the way. The trek was not hard as we had thought - both of us had experience going to Sabarimala and we covered the distance to Ilanjippara waterfalls in around an hour. There is only one big hill on the way.
On reaching there, I was a little tired. So I took off my clothes, jumped into the water and had a bath. We spend some time over there and we climbed to the top of the waterfall. Then we returned back to Olakkayam waterfalls. On the way we ate the biscuits that I had in my backpack. We didn’t had lunch and we gulped up everything. Since the walk back was mostly downhill, it was pretty easy.
On reaching Olakkayam waterfalls, I again took off my clothes and jumped to have a bath again. Mostly there are no ladies around here - atleast thats what I thought. I had no idea that my old class mate Nithin Nandakumar is bringing his family over - luckily I atleast had my underwear on. So they were not fully treated to my spectacle.
Soon we returned back - on the way we had a small snack and tea. We reached my house at around 5:00 PM - in time to take my mom to vadakkumnathan temple.

Olympics Opening Ceremony
The Olympics opening ceremony was good. I don’t know if its better than the last one held in China. This one had its moments though including some very funny ones. I really though that Daniel Craig will jump from the helicopter. It didn’t happen… lol..
The problem was that it was too late for countries like mine (India). Well you can’t satisfy everyone in the world at the same time. I fall asleep somewhere around 4.00 AM. So I couldn’t see the entire ceremony.

Back to Wordpress?
As you guys know, I am using flatpress as my blogging script. It has been working well for me for quite sometime. I had in fact used flatpress in the earlier part of my blogging, then went to wordpress and again back to flatpress. Now I am thinking of going back to wordpress one more time. I am happy with the speed offered by flatpress but I am not happy with the features associated with it.
Ofcourse this means that I will have to transfer all the posts in flatpress into wordpress, which is something of a burden.
Well I am thinking about this change..
I am haunted by Google PR
As you know Google Page Rank (PR) is an important factor in SEO. I am having some big issues with Google PR in this site. Its gone back to zero - which is the lowest. Earlier it had been one.
No matter how unique the posts are in this blog, Google doesn’t seem to count it into their PR rating. All they seems to like is lots of content which is updated daily or even hourly..
Went to Nalambalam
Last week me and my mom had went to Nalambalam. It means 4 temples - this is a visit to worship the 4 brothers in Ramayanam- Raman, Bharathan, Lakshmanan, and Sathrughnan. Its is said that a visit to these 4 temples in karkidam is very sacred.
The temples that we went are
Thriprayar Sreerama Temple
Koodalmanikyam Temple, Irinjalakuda
Moozhikkulam Sree Lakshmanapermal Temple
Payammal Temple
These are temples in Thrissur. In other districts, there are other temples also devoted to the four brothers.
