Took saturday off
Yesterday I took the day off from work - means I didn’t go to work in my office. But work followed me. I went out in the morning to get my bike serviced (My bike wasn’t serviced after my accident and its not in a good shape) - so I gave the bike for servicing at Hero Mobikes in Koorkencherry and then I went to get to see Sojan Chettan at JJ Infosys to have some of my domains extended (I extended freecloudhost.org for 3 years and freeopenarticles.com/net/org for 1 year). At JJ Infosys, I was getting calls from work. So I sat there for sometime on my laptop doing my work and then I went to see my fiancée at her workplace. There too I was getting calls and I spend most of my time working and not chatting with her. Since its saturday she can close the office at 2pm and we walked to Sakthan stand - she got to her bus and I went to my earlier working place - Accel - There I met my earlier colleagues (Ajitha madam, Sameeha madam, Vijo, Muthu, Basheer, Paulson sir) and I spend some time talking with Paulson sir (and doing work on my laptop attending the calls). We got out from there at around 6:30 pm and I went back to Koorkencherry to collect my bike. Then I went home.

Sell my books online
It wasn’t that long ago that I loved reading books. I seems to have lost that touch - its not that I don’t like to read books, but I am not getting enough time for it. I am thinking to sell books online - at least the magazines like chip, digit and pcquest that I have bought. If unable to sell online, I will just scrap them - I do have a collection of Hardy Boys, Doctor Who etc in the closet. If someone loves these, then they can contact me.

Freenas not getting added to the domain
I have been experimenting with freenas for the past couple of days. I want to implement it as a storage device instead of using a windows server based backup to reduce the cost. But I am finding that its not getting added to the windows domain. I have tried most of the tricks offered by various sites. I am loosing my patience.
Thinking of building an online card design service
Lately I am too busy at work, but that doesn’t let my mind wander to dream about building new things. I am thinking of building a business card printing service or at least a site which will give you the design of the business card choosing from pre designed templates. If I am opting to provide printing, then I can charge for the cost of the prints. But if its only design, then it will be advertisement based - meaning no money will be charged for the design. Now let me see if I can find the time to design this.

From Pondicherry to Hyderabad and then back to Pondicherry
I started from Pondicherry on 27th April 2013, I reached Hyderabad the next day. I don’t know exactly where I got down, I was tired and just wanted to get back to the hotel that had been booked for me. So got into an auto which got me into Falcon which is at Banjara Hills nearby the head office of Next Education. As the day I arrived 28th April 2013 was a sunday, our office was not open. This was a blessing for me as I was really tired. Our IT head Rakesh sir had called me to say that I could have some time off visiting some of the malls nearby but I was too tired to go out. So I just slept throughout that day.
On the next day I went to our head office which is just a 5 min walk from the hotel that I was staying. I carried the Acer PC that I had got from Pondicherry. My L2 Team Lead Pavan had told me that we could get it later, but I thought of getting it to the office as soon as possible. Its a little mistake - I should have listened to Pavan. The package was big and I am not entirely in the best of shape. But I reached the office.
That day (monday) I met most of the guys whom I had only spoken on the phone. First it was Mahipal who called me and taught me the basics of the EPBAX machine configuration. I tried to grasp in as much as I can. Then we met with the L2 team over there. Only Pavan and Rohit had come that day. I also met Subba and Arun of tech team. Also met Rakesh sir. Since they were short of people that day, I attended some of their calls. At noon we had lunch which is at the top of that building.
At first it was decided that I will get back to Kochi after Friday. But soon that plan changed and it was decided that I have to get back to Pondicherry. But by that time it was late to get the bus to Pondicherry. So it was decided that I will go to Pondicherry the next day.
In the evening, Pavan took me out to have some cool Hyderbadi biriyani. Later Subba and Rohit joined us. We had a nice time. Then Pavan dropped me at my hotel.
The next day I came to the office after checking out from the hotel. I came to the office with my luggage (which is just a bag as I had only prepared for a maximum of 2 day trip). Pavan helped me to book the bus ticket online using his credit card as I was a bit short of money. But soon I recived my salary and I gave back the money.
