So this is my favorite films of 2018…
As a year 2018 saw a big release of films as usual – of these, I am listing my favorite films. They may not be box office hits or had big press coverage but by my standard, they are awesome.
1. Upgrade – This film was one the best Sci-Fi action movies of 2018. I am a big fan of action and Science Fiction – so this provided me both with some thrilling action moments and wicked humor. You will love the camera work done during the action shots.

2. The Endless – This is a science fiction / fantasy / horror movie, directed, produced by and starring Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Its built on an extremely low budget, but really punches above its weight category. It has a good story line and special effects are pretty cool.

3. Bad Times at the El Royale – This is a cool neo musical thriller with superb performances by all the actors. The cast is really good. I call it a musical thriller because it has some awesome music tracks in it.

4. The Night Comes for Us – This is an Indonesian action thriller film. If you loved Raid movie series, you will love this one too. It has my favorite action stars Iko Uwais and Joe Taslim.

My vote goes to be above movies – that doesn’t mean that there are other movies that I loved. I loved the other box office hits like BlacKkKlansman, DeadPool 2, Icredibles 2, Mission Impossible Fallout, Sicario – Day of the Soldado, Solo – A Star Wars Story, The Equalizer 2, Avengers- Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Black Panther, etc – but I didn’t list because I feel that the ones above in my list didn’t get the recognition that they should have received.
