Cheeramkulam Bhagavathy Temple is also referred to as Cheeramkulam Devi Temple or Cheeram Kulangara Bhagavathi Temple.
It is situated in Anaikkal near Kunnamkulam, in Thrissur district, Kerala State, India.
The temple is located a few kilometers away from the Guruvayur Kunnamkulam highway
It is around 7km from Guruvayoor and 4km from Kunnamkulam.
You can also reach this temple from Thrissur via Kanipayyur – around 23 km.
Its a small and well maintained temple having a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The main days for Bhagavathi is considered to be Tuesday and Friday.
The primary deity worshipped at the temple is Bhagavathy with Nanadurga Sankalpam, a form of Goddess Durga.
As per local belief, the Bhagavathy is the deity of 14 desams.
The Cheeram Kulangara pooram is famous for the participation of nearly 60 caparisoned elephants.
This annual festival takes place during the malayalam month of Kumbham.
This draws crowds of devotees and spectators alike to witness the vibrant celebrations.
Dress code: Dhothi or Mundu for men and traditional wears for women.
Timings: The temple opens and closes early in both morning and evening.
