I am leaving Accel

Hi Guys,

I am leaving Accel. 31st March 2012 was the last working day for me. And of course this is not an April Fools setup – I am definitely leaving Accel.

Bejoy sir (Area Manager) had asked me if I were to get a transfer to Thrissur, will I be staying? I was willing to do that. I did talk to Dileep sir (Accel’s Kerala head) about this – the answer was negative – transfer was not an option. I don’t think at my current salary – my mom is getting her pension – but still I don’t think I could afford to take my mom to Kochi and not only that – it take a lot of persuasion to get her to leave Thrissur. And her health is not that good these days. She is having all sorts of difficulties – looks like her age has caught up with her – she is also going to need a cataract surgery soon.

Of course I haven’t decided what I am about to do next. If everything goes according to plan, I will be starting my own venture – if possible this will be having an office at Thrissur. If not I will be going for a pure online venture.
