No I am not joking about this. Kerala does need air ambulance service. Why? With the current traffic blocks and jams – even on the best highways – I am afraid that more lives may be lost. Everytime I travel by road I find ambulances trying to go fast as they can through the traffic – There are even cases when ambulances are getting involved in accidents – This is not the ambulance driver’s fault – they are trying to get the injured or even dying person to the hospital as soon as they can.
So air ambulance is something that the Kerala govt should seriously consider if they need save more lives. Its a bit costly – but I feel that cost shouldn’t be considered the only factor…
