MunakkaKadavu Beach is located in Thrissur district, Kerala State, South India. Its around 34km from Thrissur town via Vadanappally (reachable via Moonnamkallu – Anjagadi – Kadappuram).
The beach is a little isolated from the main road. This beach is the point where the Karuvannur river meets the ocean.
The beach has a groyne or pulimuttu. This has made the beach famous and you will find many people visiting here on holidays and weekends. But note that the parking space for vehicles is very less.
While the beach and the scenery are beautiful, the seas are rough here. Its not ideal to venture much into the sea here. At the time of my visit there, police had came requesting people not to go to the ocean for fun.
But the beach and the surrounding area are perfect for fishing enthusiasts.
