Pazhassi Park is located in Wayanad district, Kerala state, South India.
Its not far from Mananthavadi town, on the banks of Mananthavady river (a tributary of Kabani river).
There is nothing exceptional to see here. Its just a small, simple park. But its well maintained and good atmosphere.
Parking facility is there.
There may be boating, but may not be there at all times.
They are charging 40/- for adults and 20/- for kids. Personally I think this is a bit too high compared to this since the Nehru Park in Thrissur is free and have a much better space and ambience.
There are lots of Bamboo trees and seats for sitting are made from Bamboo (environment friendly).

There are lots of ‘Bats’ for that reason its also known as waval park or bat park among the locals.
I didn’t find much of any bats as we came at about 5pm and left soon after night fall.
If you are looking for a place to chill out and like bats or don’t mind them that much, then I suggest you this park.
Besides the above joke from my side, this is a pretty good place to hang out with your family. Kids will love this one.
Do check out my travels further.
