I went to Pathirakkattu Temple located at Nadathara, Thrissur for pradistha dinam on 25th April 2012. I started from my home at about 4:00 PM. I had never been to this temple – so I had to ask for directions (which I hate). The main attraction for me was the panjari melam (which had already started by the time I reached the temple) conducted by Peruvanam Kuttan Marar. I really enjoyed it. After that there was a fireworks display (at nearby field – walking distance of about 5 min from the temple) which was decent. The started the fireworks at about 7:00PM – actually it was scheduled to be at 7:30PM – but they started it early due to fear of rain.
