Varakkara Bhagavathi Temple

Varakkara Bhagavathi Temple is located in Thrissur district, Kerala State, South India. Its around 20 km from Thrissur town through Amballur on the way to Varandarapilly.

Besides the main diety of Godess Bhagavathy, there are varoius sub dieties like Ganapathy, Subramanyam, Landakaran, Ruthiramala (in the inner sanctum), AdiMuthappan, GuruMuthappan, Brahmarakshassu etc outside.

Varakkara Pooram is very famous with Kavadi, Elephant processions, Panchavadyam and Melam.
