Kavaludaari is a 2019 Kannada movie written and directed by Hemanth M Rao.
The story is about a traffic policeman – Shyam who is fed up in working as traffic cop, wants to get into the crime department. He is rejected multiple times, so he starts solving a case of 3 bodies which were found in the construction site of the metro. He follows up the case on his own time after the crime department closes the case. He befriends a small newspaper owner and a retired policeman to solve the case. He finds himself in a case which goes back decades and involves some very high level people.
Kavaludaari – My Opinion
This movie revolves around the marvelous screenplay and direction by Hemanth M Rao. I have to give him Kudos first. He is the super power behind this movie.
The cast is also brilliant. Rishi, Anant Nag, Achyuth Kumar, Sampath, Suman Ranganathan, Roshni Prakash and the rest of the cast puts on a terrific performance.
As I said – this is a slow paced mystery movie. This isn’t the usual Sandalwood (Kannada film) action/music oriented movie. Its all about the brilliant screen play. Its the story and the acting which transforms the movie to a different level. If you are a person who enjoys such deep mystery story or movie, then this is for you.
