Gavi Dam or Gaviar Dam is a small, gravity dam constructed as a part of Sabarigiri hydro electric project on Gaviyar (river), which is a tributary of Pamba river at Seethathode village in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, India

The masonry gravity non over flow dam in question is 17.07 metres in height and 113 metres in length.

It falls within the category of dams that are designated as medium-height dams.

In the year 1990, the building of the dam was finished.

The Gavi dam and the Kullar dam both share the reservoir.

Through the use of a tunnel, water from this reservoir is transferred to the Meenar-I reservoir.

The dam is under the jurisdiction of KSEB and entry is only for the visitors, who come to Gavi tourism circuit.

The vehicular entry is limited as we have to book online prior to the visit.

But you can get there via KSRTC and via the Forest Safari.
