Kodannur Sree Subramanya Temple is located around 10km from Thrissur town in the serene village of Kodannur. There are buses from Thrissur towards Kodannur from Sakthan bus stand. If you are going by bike or car, go towards Irinjalakuda/Kodungallur, turn right at Palakkal, then around 4km to Kodannur. The temple is a few meters from Kodannur junction.
If you are coming from Vadanappilly/Kanjani side, you can come via Manakody without touching Thrissur.
As the name suggests, the main deity is Sree Subramanya swamy or Murugan swamy.
