Kuttankulangara Sree MahaVishnu Temple located in Kuttankulangara ward of Thrissur distric, Kerala State, South India. This temple is considered to be over 300 years old.
This temple is another example of the Kerala style of architecture. It is around 500m away from Punkunnam Railway station. When coming from Thrissur Aswini Junction, take a right after crossing the Poomkunnam railway bridge and proceed for 200m from the Thrissur – Kunnamkulam road to reach the temple. The temple is open between 6AM & 10AM in the morning and 5PM & 8PM in the evening.
MahaVishnu or Sree Krishna, the presiding deity is worshipped as Santana Gopala or Santhanagopalamoorthy (സന്താനഗോപാല മൂര്ത്തി) . It is believed that the god gives the fortune of progeny.
The Festival or Utsavam (ഉത്സവം) is celebrated during the month of January–February(മകര മാസം)
