Nalumanikattu Children’s Park and Kayaking Club is located in Kadapuram near Chavakkad in Thrissur district, Kerala State, South India.
The word ‘Nalumanikattu’ means 4’o clock breeze in Malayalam.
Its around 30 km from Thrissur, 4 km from Chavakkad, 12 km from Vadanappilly.
This place is located in Thrissur district, there is also one with the same name in Kottayam district in Kerala.
Its a good getaway destination for a day. Best to go there in the morning or in the evening (at times when the sun isn’t that hot)
There is boating facility available – either you can use the boating with the guide or use pedal boats.
Also for the adventurous, Kayaking is also present.
They will give you proper protection before you go on the boats or kayak (so that non swimmers won’t drown in the even if the boat or kayak is capsized).
Please do note that both pedal boats or kayaking requires you to be in some good physical form.
The children’s park isn’t much to boast about. But you can spend some time there relaxing with your family.
