What are the best Las Vegas hotels? You can’t go wrong with these. These Las Vegas hotels are not necessarily the most luxurious or expensive, but represent some of the best values.
Palazzo
This luxury all-suite hotel, opened in early 2008 next to sister property The Venetian, is the newest all-suite property in Las Vegas. In the lobby, fountains stretch two stories high, and a 60-foot glass dome, imported marble floors and bronze columns make an impressive statement.
Bellagio
Classically romantic, this resort is styled after a lakeside village in Tuscany. The fountains out front dance a ballet of sorts throughout each day. Inside, a botanical garden with a matching glass ceiling sculpture provide more sustenance for your senses. This hotel has a special place in my heart, ever since I spent my honeymoon there a couple of years ago. Ask for a Lake View room for an enchanting look at the dancing fountains gracing the 8-acre lake.
Red Rock Casino Resort
The first billion-dollar resort and casino to be built off the Strip, Red Rock takes full advantage of a picturesque setting in the mountains. This luxury resort was conceived on a smaller scale then the typical Strip behemoth, resulting in a more intimate feel. Las Vegas flash is added with over three million crystals woven into the decor. Glass windows overlook the surrounding mountains. Las Vegas and casinos are synonymous. You just cannot happen to imagine the one without the other. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

Concerts are held in the arena or the House of Blues concert hall. During the day, there’s a rare coin museum, a walk-through aquarium and several trendy restaurants.
Palms Casino Resort
Playboy-inspired hotel west of the Strip popular with the L.A. Crowd and celebrities like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson. A magnet for celebrities, the Palms has been making waves among the hip and young crowd since its opening in 2001. A South Beach atmosphere and two of the hottest nightclubs in town add to the draw.
Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
If you can’t swing the overseas flight, Paris Las Vegas will give you a taste of the City of Lights. The hotel catches your eye from the Strip with a replica of the Eiffel Tower. Inside the hotel and casino is a dollhouse version of the city, with cobblestone streets, sidewalk cafes and folks greeting you with “Bonjour.”
Caesar’s Palace
When Caesars Palace opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 1966, it set a new standard in opulence and elegance. Today, despite competition from newer hotels, Caesars still holds its own. The Forum Shops are decadent shopping at its best, and is fun to walk through if just to see the blue sky ceiling and fountain statues that come to life.
