Karlad Lake (in wikipedia its specified as Karalad Lake) is located in Thariode(or Thariyode), Wayanad district, Kerala State, South India. This is the third largest fresh water lake in Kerala.
Its around 83km from Kozhikkode via Thamarassery – Adivaram – Vythiri. Around 190 km from my home town – Thrissur.
The main attraction is the Wayanad Adventure Camp (administered by District Tourism Promotion Council, Wayanad) which conducts the adventurous activities like zip lining, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, zorbing etc.
The visiting time is from 9am to 5pm.
