Mathikunnu Bhagavathy Temple is located in Thrikkur, Thrissur district, Kerala State.
We can reach the temple in two ways via the Thrikkur- Ponnukkara Route or from the Thrikkur- Kalloor Route.
The main deity here is Bhagavathi (Goddess Bhadrakali),
There are other sub deities – Ganapathi, Sasthavu, Vettakkaran, Subramanian, Navagrahas, Veerabhadran, Nagathara (nagas), Bhrahmarashas, Muthappan, Guruthithara
Every Wednesday, there is ‘karyasidhi’ pooja ( Rituals and offerings to fulfill your wish) for which devotees come in large numbers from far and near.
The temple has enough parking space for big and small vehicles.
There are also a few buses which pass through.
Annadanam (food offering to devotees) is held on all days – is available from 10:00 – 12:00 hrs
Everyone is welcomed here. The doors of the Temple is opened to all without considering their social and religious status.
A pious Christian built the Sanctum Sanctorm ( Sreekovil) and the main statute of the Goddes.
A true follower of the Prophet Mohammed dedicated his time and finances to build the temple of Lord Subramanian inside the temple wall.
The Gods of Mathikkunnu blesses all irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
