Perinchery Sacred Heart Shrine is located around 10km from Thrissur town.
It was established in 1903 under the Archdiocese of Thrissur.
This church is now a major pilgrim centre of the Sacred Heart of Christ.
The Sacred Heart Oottu Thirunal is observed on the first Friday of every month at 10 am sponsored by devotees.
In 2010 this church was declared as a Pilgrim Sanctuary dedicated to Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ – maybe the only Sacred Heart shrine under Syro Malabar Church.
