Sree Mangottukavu Bhagavathi Temple is located in Athipotta near Alathur in Palakkad district, Kerala State, South India. Its around 24km from Palakkad. If you are coming from Thrissur, you can reach here via Alathur or via Chelakkara/Pazhayannur.
The temple is administered by Sree Mangottukavu Devaswom, which comes under Malabar Devaswom board.
Bhagavathi (or Bagavathi or Bhagavathy) is the main diety. The sub dieties include Lord Ganapathy in the Kanni Moola (south west corner) of the inner temple, Mookken Chathen on the north side of the temple (just outside the temple). Mookken Chathen is said to be the protector of the Bhagavathy.

Usha Pooja – 8:30 am, Ucha Pooja – 11:30am
On Other days
Usha Pooja – 7:30 am, Ucha Pooja – 9:30am
Opening evening everyday – 5pm
Athaza Pooja – 7:30pm
Prasada Ootu (Lunch prasadam) will be there on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday starting from around 11:30am
