Yesterday we (me and my friend Amal Raj) went to Aykunnu Bhagavathy Temple. Its situated in Venginissery which is just about 9 km from my home. This was more of a informal visit, just to see the place. This was more of a site seeing visit – I have to say that the hill is absolutely gorgeous with a superb view of the entire Thrissur city. We didn’t go into the temple because we didn’t have a bath earlier. We are planning to have a formal visit to the temple nest week.
